Coaching and Counselling for Outstanding Job Performance

Counselling is mainly focused on restoring a weak performance caused by skill deficiency or an attitude deficiency or personal issues to a minimally acceptable level or, failing that, may cause the removal of the employee from that job. Coaching on the other hand is used to increase performance often of target individuals who have demonstrated excellent performance and should be encouraged and guided in other areas of the job to reach greater career heights. In this training session, HR professionals will understand the differences between coaching and counseling, how to plan impactful coaching and counseling, and the use of performance improvement plans.
