Strategic Change Management for Human Resources Managers

Strategic change management is the process of managing change in a structured way in order to meet organizational goals, objectives, and missions. Three major types of strategic change are: Restructuring (reorganizing the departments and making changes in the hierarchy); Reengineering (altering the business processes) and Innovation (primarily an improvement over existing products or services). Strategic change requires HR managers to manage the technical, cultural and political aspects of change.
