Latest Strategies in Competency Based Training Needs Analysis

In this course, HR participants will actively engage in a Competency based Training Needs Analysis. The analysis begins with an organizational analysis to analyze its business goals and identify issues or gaps in job performance that impede goal achievement. Next, a Job Requirement Analysis is carried out to document what a job covers, i.e. tasks, responsibilities, duties, and powers and authorities attached to the job. Subsequently a Job Analysis is conducted to examine the key knowledge, skills and behaviors critical to successfully complete a job or task. Performance gaps can also be analyzed and checked against Job Analysis. Finally, a Person Analysis is done to ascertain who needs to be trained, what training is needed, and the individual learning preference.
