Human Resources for Non-Human Resources Managers

This course helps non-HR managers to learn the main functions in HRM such as Planning, Administration, Recruitment, Performance Appraisal, Training and Development, and Compensation and Benefits. Non-HR managers will learn specific skills such as writing job specifications, identifying core competencies in jobs, strategizing techniques for recruiting, selecting and retaining the best people, structuring compensation and benefits, executing performance appraisals and maintaining healthy employee relations. Participants will learn how e-HR digital systems support decision making for instance through measuring performance metrics and forecasting changing patterns and future needs. Participants will understand the imperative of aligning HRM functions and initiatives to the overall organizational strategy to achieve business goals.
