Wi-Fi and Cellular Convergence

This course will introduce participants to the 802.11 family of wireless LAN technologies, commonly called Wi-Fi. Participants will discuss the different forms of Wi-Fi used nowadays and elaborate on the functionality, operation, and structure of Wi-Fi connections. Consequently, they will investigate topics pertinent to the incorporation of Wi-Fi access into the cellular provider’s portfolios and methods that actuate interworking between the access environments.
