LTE RF Network Planning

Long Term Evolution (LTE) represents the next phase of contemporary UMTS and GSM networks. Notwithstanding, the upgrade is not forthright: while RF design aspects ensued CDMA; similarly, the use of resource blocks and the main use of MIMO is concomitant of LTE. After examining LTE, the course moves to explore RF fundamentals and then looks at antenna deployment. After that, delegates will investigate Path Loss modelling, frequency reuse for LTE, NLOS effects, and synchronisation. Finally, the course covers approaches and techniques of RF planning through various levels.
