Training goals must be Specific, Measurable, and Achievable, Realistic and Time Bound (SMART). In this course, HR personnel will learn how to conduct a Training Needs Analysis to identify specific content to address the right problem for the right target group (S). HR personnel will learn to develop a strategic training schema to align the training goals clearly with the organizational goals and use the schema in performance measurement of the training at the end of the training session (M). HR personnel will Develop a Training Strategy that includes details such as when and where, duration, methodology, and the topics covered (A, R). HR Personnel will plan for value-added training elements such as a post-training support to facilitate knowledge transfer, up to a period of time (T).
